The foundation successfully launched on August 24th, 2017, marking the beginning of our mission. Our first major initiative focused on northern Ghana, where we provided crucial support to students struggling with school fees. The project included distributing books and stationery while organizing health screenings and health talks for communities like Wupiense. This foundational project established our three-pillar approach of education, healthcare, and community support.

Sanitary Products
In April 2019, ExGlo expanded its reach by visiting four strategic schools in the Upper West Region. Beyond providing essential educational materials and sanitary pads, the foundation conducted impactful talks on goal setting, personal development, character education, and menstrual hygiene management. This holistic approach addressed both immediate needs and long-term personal development, establishing a model for comprehensive school support.

This initiative in the Central Region represented our evolution toward comprehensive community development. We trained community members in liquid soap production for livelihood, while the local school received books, stationery, and much-needed furniture for students and staff. The project concluded with health talks and clothing donations, demonstrating our integrated approach to addressing education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.

The Love Share initiative marked our largest multi-regional outreach, bringing Christmas joy and essential support across Ghana. We reached Ateaso, Ghanyemni Mercy Children's Home, Zanlerigu, and Kpaguri. Each community received tailored support including stationery, textbooks, clothing, and footwear. We also organized Christmas parties and conducted educational talks on career development and health, combining celebration with long-term wellness.

This program represented our strategic shift toward evidence-based interventions. At Tamale Girls SHS, 600 students learned liquid soap and bead making. In Srafa, 200 women learned skills to generate income during farming off-seasons. We simultaneously supported Srafa's basic school with marker boards, furniture, and facility repairs. This dual approach of skills training and educational infrastructure support created a comprehensive community development model.

This program addressed critical challenges facing young women in northern Ghana. Targeting Daffiama SHS and Our Lady of Lourdes Girls' SHS, we provided comprehensive training in liquid soap, bar soap, and bead making. By focusing on female students, the program aimed to promote financial independence and reduce teenage pregnancy rates. The enthusiastic reception from headmasters and students validated the program's relevance and impact.

This initiative demonstrated our refined approach to community-responsive programming. In Nayire, we conducted liquid soap production training for 400 participants, complemented by clothing distributions. The program then extended to Sandema District Hospital, focusing on maternal health through donations to the maternity ward and NICU. This dual approach of economic empowerment and healthcare strengthening exemplified our evolved strategy for creating lasting impact.
